Terrestrial isopods (family Oniscidae) are bio indicators of soil quality. The detritivores crustacean are fully adapted to terrestrial life, and had seen their morphology, ecology and behaviors evolved in order to adapt to this environment. The overall aim of this project is to determine the impact of several potentially stressful stimuli on their physiology. Thereby, we measured the impact of both acute and chronic stimuli on several isopod species, using hemolymph glucose concentration as indicator.
